OUR MISSION:
BUILDING UP THE FUTURE FOOD BUSINESSES

We focus on emerging food and drink based businesses that will have a solid impact in people’s food habits. We provide them vision, expertise and methodologies to help them grow fast and stable.

Spain has positioned itself as a leader in the international food scene, besides our rich food traditions, based on a privileged and diverse pantry, a new generation of young chefs has joined the market bringing up innovation and modernity. We enjoy a strong ecosystem that reinforce the traditional Food & Beverages industry with new appealing offerings.

Traditionally, this potential hasn´t materialized as strong culinary businesses that can grow internationally. We are currently living an inflection point in the way companies enter the market that will produce strong companies, fulfilling their actual market potential.

Eatable Adventures was born to help these new entrants develop strategically and grow accordingly: We assist innovative projects to generate competitive advantages in this new market context, working with the entrepreneurs and connecting emerging and innovative companies with the industrial resources need to achieve high levels of scale.

JOSÉ LUIS CABAÑERO

For more than 28 years, José Luis Cabañero worked in the development of emerging market segments in large entities as Cisco, Oracle, BBVA and Unisys. Formed as a Computer Science Engineer at Univ. de Extremadura, he completed his training with business and gastronomic degrees: he completed the Stanford Executive program at Stanford’s University School of Business, the Venture Capital Executive Program at Berkeley’s University Haas Business School, the Diplôme de Cuisine by Le Cordon Bleu and the Diplôme Universitaire DUGGAT at Reims Champagne-Ardennes University.

Mila

MILA VALCÁRCEL

During her more than 20 years of professional career, Mila Valcárcel has always delivered her customers an innovative approach based on consumer’s brand experience. She did it at MTV Spain and Viacom Media, as Director of Events and Sponsoring. And she continued during 11 years as co-director of Método Helmer, the company she led strategic projects for the Food, Beverages and Hospitality industries: Grupo Mahou-San Miguel, Heineken Internacional, Orangina Schweppes, Coca-Cola, Pernod Ricard España, Le Cordón Bleu, Osborne, Suntory Group, Beer&Food.

She served as VicePresident of AEVEA and is a speaker in communications and advertisement forums; she’s been guest lecturer at CEU, URJC, EIC, UAM.

JOSÉ DE ISASA

He has developed his career over 17 years as a marketing and communications professional, working for large entertainment and packaged goods companies like Disney, Channel, LÓrela, Altadis, Sony, El País and PRISA. He is currently Director of Marketing and Communications at Shine Iberia (Masterchef Spain and Portugal, Cocina2, Un dos Chef). He’s lecturer in Marketing and Communications at Instituto de Empresa. He holds a Master degree in Economics, MBA by IE and completed his business training with the Diplôme de Cuisine de Base at Le Cordon Bleu.
