Sector: Agrifoodtech
Geography: Italy
Key Results
5,000 people in the innovation community
2,500+ professionals trained
300+ collaborations activated
The Challenge
Northern Italy had talent, companies, institutions and research, but innovation was scattered. The missing piece was a shared operating model to connect actors, accelerate collaboration and turn initiatives into compounding impact.
The Intervention
- Designed and activated VAIH as an open innovation platform with a clear governance and partnership model
- Delivered high-level training programs to accelerate technology transfer across the value chain.
- Orchestrated a multi-stakeholder ecosystem combining public ambition with private execution.
The Impact
In two years, VAIH became one of Italy’s most active agrifood innovation hubs, laying the groundwork for a scalable national expansion model, with open innovation and technology transfer at the core.
This wasn’t a hub for visibility. It was a hub for movement, where talent, science and industry stop orbiting… and start building.
